About Hope for Life Ministries
Hope For Life Ministries is a Christian nonprofit ministry committed to making the hope of Christ tangible in the lives of others through compassionate service, prayer, and outreach. Our ministry seeks to respond to spiritual and practical needs while encouraging hope, dignity, and faith in the communities we serve.
Our Mission
To conduct and carry on the work of Hope For Life Ministries exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary, and educational purposes; to help prevent cruelty to women and children and human trafficking; and to provide financial support for medical missions, widows, orphanages, mission work, Bible school students, pastors and their families, and those in need.
OUR STORY
Hope For Life Ministries was founded in 2018 by Bishop Dr. Abraham Varghese following decades of pastoral, church-planting, and missions’ leadership. His experiences serving churches and communities helped
shape a vision for a ministry focused on meeting both spiritual and practical needs through prayer, service, and compassionate care. Since its founding, Hope For Life Ministries has grown into a shared ministry carried forward by its leadership, prayer partners, donors, mission teams, and faithful supporters. Together, we seek to make the hope of Christ visible through service wherever God opens the door.
Our Founder
I am Abraham Varghese, an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God.
My wife and I live in Georgia and have four children and two grandchildren. I am a graduate of Lee University (B.A.Theology), graduate of University of Tennessee (B.S.Engineering) and graduate of Pentecostal Theological Seminary (M.A.Counseling). Abraham Varghese, PhD, obtained his doctoral degree in Counseling & Psychological Studies at Regent University in Virginia.
Served as Senior pastor at different churches and planted Church of God churches in two different states. Served as President of Church of God (India) Northeastern Region fellowship and the North American Church of God (India) Fellowship. Served as a District Overseer in New Jersey. Was a member of the Dr. T.L. Lowery crusade.
Our Ministry Leadership
Bishop Dr. Abraham Varghese Founder, President and Missionary
Bishop Dr. Abraham Varghese is ordained with the Church of God. His ministry has included pastoral leadership, missions, counseling, and service to the broader Church. He continues to serve as a missionary and to provide spiritual leadership and guidance to Hope For Life Ministries while
serving alongside its leadership team and supporters in advancing the ministry’s mission.
Ms. Leela Varghese
Missionary and Board Member
Ms. Leela Varghese embraced the Pentecostal faith during her college years and is known as a devoted prayer warrior and a source of encouragement to others. Since 1972 she has faithfully served alongside her husband, Bishop Dr. Abraham Varghese, throughout their years of ministry and has also participated in missionary and charitable outreach. She brings deep faith, missionary experience, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to prayer and service to Hope For Life Ministries.
Bishop K. Scott Crowe
Secretary and Board Member
Bishop K. Scott Crowe is an ordained Bishop with the Church of God and serves on the State Youth and Discipleship Board. He brings experience in pastoral ministry, discipleship, worship, and service to the Church to his work with Hope For Life Ministries.
Pastor Kristi L. Crowe
Board Member
Pastor Kristi L. Crowe is an ordained minister with the Church of God and serves in student ministry at Buford Church of God. She brings a passion for discipleship, young people, and Christian service to Hope For Life Ministries.
Dr. Robert Tidd
Board Member
Dr. Robert Tidd is a licensed pastoral counselor and ordained minister with more than 20 years of experience providing premarital and marriage counseling and ministering to individuals experiencing grief, trauma, crisis, and chronic illness. He brings a ministry of compassionate care and pastoral counsel to Hope For Life Ministries.
Bishop D. Morris Hansard
Board Member
Bishop D. Morris Hansard is an ordained Bishop with the Church of God who has faithfully served in ministry for more than five decades. He has served as Lead Pastor of Auburn Church of God for 35 years alongside his wife, Cindy. He brings extensive pastoral experience, a strong commitment to missions, and a heart for reaching people both locally and around the world to Hope For Life Ministries.
Pastor Staci Pealock

Pastor Staci Pealock is a licensed minister, Women’s Ministry Pastor, speaker, Bible teacher, author, and founder of L.A.M.B.S. Ministry. With more than four decades of ministry experience, she is passionate about helping women grow in faith, experience healing, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose. She brings a strong background in teaching, discipleship, and women’s ministry to Hope For Life
Ministries.
Mr. Randall Jones
Board Member
Mr. Randall Jones is a retired Quality Systems Engineer and longtime Bible teacher with more than fifty years of experience in Christian education. He currently teaches the Solid Rock Sunday School class at Buford Church of God and is active in Worship Arts and missions support. He brings a deep commitment to Scripture, service, and faithful ministry to Hope For Life Ministries.
Dr. Janice Elaine Abraham
Administrator and Board Member
Dr. Janice Elaine Abraham serves as Administrator. Raised in a pastor’s home and shaped by a lifelong legacy of Christian service. She brings experience in leadership, administration, healthcare education, and organizational development to Hope For Life Ministries.
Dr. Alex Abraham
Vice President and Board Member
Dr. Alex Abraham is an ordained minister and technology executive, retired from
McKinsey & Company. He currently serves on the Senate (Board of Studies) of Pentecostal Theological Seminary in India. The grandson of one of the pioneers of Pentecostalism in India and the son of the first native Church of God leader in India, he brings a rich spiritual heritage and extensive experience in preaching, teaching, global leadership, and strategy to Hope For Life Ministries.
